This is a solderer's best helper, the Third Hand. It comes complete with a heavy base, two alligator clips, a soldering iron holder and a good magnifying glass.
The SparkFun Third Hand gives you the ability to hold a board between two alligator clips with multiple points of articulation. The magnifying glass allows you to get up close to see what you are working on making soldering that much easier, whilst the soldering iron holder can prevent accidents from happening.
