Raphaël, RoboteQ's European Business Manager, travelled from Geneva to visit Active Robots last week. He was showing us the multiple uses that their products have, as well as how they can be implemented.
Not only have we been talking about the RoboteQ products that we sell, such as their magnetic guide sensors and battery management systems, but how we could work together in future projects and put the RoboteQ technology to use within our Active8 solutions.
Their motor controllers, that function with systems up to 500A, will be useful with absolute or relative positioning in some of our solutions and their AGV solutions are exciting too. Bought either as a kit or individual pieces, the AGVs are reliable fast and accurate, and can be built with just a motor controller and magnetic sensor, meaning that you can build the AGV to meet your exact specifications. We’re sure this will be a useful tool to be able to implement in the future and may even be useful to increase the capability of our already innovative Attollo Series Palletisation Unit. Use of an AGV would make it possible to remove the full pallet from the Palletiser to be wrapped, and then could replace a new empty pallet into the robot.
Whilst he was here we were keen to show Raphaël some of our other work, so that he could further understand how his products and solutions could help us and our customers too. We also discussed further meetings in the future in which our engineers will be trained on using the RoboteQ software including configuring and diagnostics.
Active Robots are currently the exclusive UK distributor of RoboteQ’s products, and soon you will be able to find us on RoboteQ’s Solution Partner page; https://www.roboteq.com/index.php/support/roboteq-solution-partners. We look forward to working more closely with RoboteQ in the future.
