Nao Humanoid Robots hit the streets of London dancing 'Gangnam Style'
Last week our Nao Humanoid robots danced their way out of the office and headed over to Picadilly Circus in London where they met Jon Bentley from Channel 5's The Gadget Show to compete against humans in a Gangnam Style dance off!
Active Robots' very own Charly Newton took our budding trio of Nao robots, Max, Antony and Ben to meet Jon who had a unique challenge set up for them; to compete in a dance off against a professional London street dance group, King Corville.
Our Nao Humanoid Robot dance troupe gave it their all against numerically and physically superior opponents, who lacked the coherence and precision of Max, Antony and Ben, but failed to win the votes of the humans present in the audience, if only smartphones could vote!
Not to be put off, our twirling trio have pivoted their attention to more domestic matters and are now busy waltzing around the kitchen trying to perfect the art of a good brew....keep an eye out for the Gadget Man Christmas Special to see more!
