This module is ideal for use with small robotic systems. Over current and overtemperature protection are built into the MMBe. This part is backwards compatible with earlier MMB parts, with minor changes in functionality.
The 21 serial commands include set duty cycle, stop, reverse, read tachometer, set-point or proportional-integral speed control, write EEPROM, read EEPROM, change baud rate, change PWM frequency, count, set duty cycle and direction (single command).
Hardware testing can be streamlined with the Motor Mind Serial Test Board (MMBSTB), and horizontal mounting onto a PCB can be accomplished with the motor mind B connector (MMBCON). See the link at the bottom of the download table for photos of robots built with this product.
