Create
Little robots for building big imaginations.
Cubelets robot blocks make it easy for builders of nearly any age to imagine, craft, and invent countless robot constructions.

Make
Just like building blocks, only smarter.
Cubelets are little blocks of software inside little blocks of hardware. Each Cubelet has a special function, so how you assemble your robot changes its behavior. Every combination is a new creation.

Reinvent
Tactile coding; Cubelets make the principles of programming easy to learn and practice. Cubelets’ special combination of software and hardware means that as you build a robot you build a program. It’s hands-on coding!  Each Cubelet has a special function and belongs to one of three categories: SENSE Cubelets take in information from the robot’s environment. THINK Cubelets compute and change that information, and ACT Cubelets turn that information into a physical action.

Cubelets’ magnetic faces make them simple to snap together and pull apart. Connect at least one SENSE, THINK, and ACT Cubelet to create a robot construction.  Build loads of simple robot constructions with the Cubelets Discovery Set.  The yellow Brick Adapters connect to LEGO® and other brick building-block toys.

The Bluetooth® Hat pairs robot constructions with mobile devices. Simple, proximity-based pairing makes connecting easy. Cap your creations with the Bluetooth® Hat to add new abilities using the free Cubelets app.  The Cubelets app is your portal to the software blocks inside each Cubelet. Remote Control manipulates individual Cubelets to change the behavior of an entire robot construction.

In the classroom or in the living room, Cubelets foster vital skills, all while kids play with robots. Fascinating and fun, they nurture your child’s imagination, creativity, and inventive spirit. Cubelets are the building blocks of better thinkers.

Why teach with Cubelets?
Creating through connection
Cubelets in education have consistently been used to foster highly engaging lessons and activities. They’re a tech teaching tool proven to build collaboration and communication skills.  Designed for all learners, Cubelets robot blocks are great for nearly any age and all skill levels. Cubelets are used to teach different skills depending on a child’s developmental stage.

What can I teach with Cubelets?
Cubelets are little robots for teaching big ideas
Cubelets are used to teach everything from design thinking to engineering, collaboration, complexity, math, and more. Even advanced ideas like abstract modeling, systems thinking, and emergence can be explored with these deceptively simple robot blocks.  From coding to computational thinking, Cubelets robot blocks provide three distinctive ways to learn about computational thinking while progressively developing more advanced coding skills. They’re the perfect tool for users of any skill level to build an understanding of how to solve problems with data.

What they are saying:

“The impact of Cubelets on my students constantly exceeds my expectations I want a way to level the playing field for students to collaborate, extend the concept of coding… and to engage struggling students to make learning fun and exciting. Cubelets helped with all of these goals and I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface yet.”  Barbara G. | Jefferson County School District | Colorado, United States

“Tested with over 150,000 kids at international and national museums, Cubelets have proven to be a visitor favorite that provides an introduction to simple robotics and logical thinking. When you add that to great customer support, provision of educational resources, as well as a good product warranty, Cubelets have become one of our ‘go to’ installations in digiPlaySpace.”  Suzan S. | Toronto International Film Festival | Toronto, Canada
