Use the Inex Infrared LED Board in two different modes:
Continuous Drive: In this mode, the IR-LED will receive a forward bias to drive the infrared rays. Use with the Inex Photo-transistor board for measuring the infrared light density.
Frequency Drive: This mode will modulate a 38kHz carrier frequency into the IR-LED. Use with the Inex 38kHz Infrared Receiver Module.
A 3mm infrared LED and a current limiting resistor
Drive with logic HIGH at TTL level
2-mode operation: continuous drive or frequency drive
Transmission range is 5 to 10 meters (line of sight)
The Inex 38kHz Infrared Receiver Module is used to detect infrared signals carried by the 38kHz carrier.
If the infrared sensor does not detect the 38kHz frequency with the infrared light, the output will be logic "1". Otherwise, if it detects the 38kHz frequency, the output logic is "0".

The Inex Bi-Color LED Output Board is perfect to indicate the status of your robot. Two inputs are possible: HIGH with logic "1" will light the LED in Red; LOW with logic "0" will light the LED in Green. If the input signal is different, the LED will remain off.

The Inex Light Reflector Board works with a super bright LED as a light source and an LDR (Light dependent resistor) for light detection. The red light will be reflected from any surface back to the LDR. The output voltage will increase as the LDR detects more light.

Inex Magnetic Field Sensor Board
The Inex Magnetic Field Sensor works with a built-in 3A Hall-effect sensor (UGN3503) which tracks extremely small changes in the magnetic flux density. This sensor provides a voltage output from 0 to +5Vdc that is proportional to the applied magnetic field. If no magnetic field is detected (0 Gauss) the output voltage will be 2.5V.
The voltage output can be calculated using the following formula:

Inex Temperature Sensor Board
The Inex Temperature Sensor Board works with an NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistor. This analog sensor allows you to have two different outputs: positive or negative DC voltage proportional to ambient temperature. Its normal resistance is set to 25C.

The INEX ZX-Thermometer Temperature Sensor Board works with a water-resistant cabled NTC (negative temperature coefficient) thermistor (so the sensor can be placed a distance away from the board).
The output from the NTC thermistor is converted to a voltage that is directly proportional to the temperature.
The Inex Sound Detector Board works with a built-in condenser microphone. This sensor provides an output voltage from 0 to +5 Vdc which is proportional to the intensity of noise detected. If the noise is louder the voltage will increase and vice versa.
