Devantech SRF08 Ultra Sonic Ranger Module
The SRF08 is an evolutionary step up from the SRF04. It requires less power to operate, has a longer range (up to 6m) and it performs its own internal timing of the return echo. The SRF08 is also fitted with an LDR to measure light levels.
Communication with the SRF08 is via the I2C bus that is available on many popular microcontroller's.

Devantech SRF10 Ultra Sonic Ranger Module
The SRF10 is a miniature ultrasonic range finder, controlled over a I²C bus which is available on most popular micro controllers, (including AVR devices).
Like the SRF08, the SRF10 will operate up to 6m while performing its own internal timing of the return echo.

Devantech CMPS03 Magnetic Compass Module
The CMPS03 Magnetic Compass Module has been specifically designed as a robot navigation aid.
This module can easily be connected to many popular microcontroller's via the I2C bus.
The compass uses two Philips KMZ10A magnetic field sensors that are sensitive enough to detect the Earths magnetic field. The module generates a number that indicates the bearing of the robot in relation to the local magnetic field. This number can then be read by the microcontroller.

TPA81 Thermal Sensor Array
The TPA81 can detect a candle flame at a range 2 meters (6ft) and is unaffected by ambient light and it can also detect body heat!
The TPA81 is a thermopile array that can be used to measure the temperature of 8 adjacent points simultaneously. Moreover if used in conjunction with a servo (to pan the module), a thermal image of a heat source can be built up.
