This efficient and battery friendly 5 Volt switching-regulator gives you up to 45% more battery life than a typical liner voltage regulator (Switching regulators typically operate at 85% efficiency, whereas linear regulators typically operate at 40% efficiency).

6 Volt Voltage Regulator

When the input voltage is higher than 6v, this will regulate the output to 6v. When the input voltage is less than 6v, the regulator is bypassed. Weight is only 0.4 oz. Current is 10 amp cont. 20 amp peak at 7.2vdc in. 8.4vdc max input.
