These are very slim, extremely light weight batteries based on the new Polymer Lithium Ion chemistry. This is the highest energy density currently in production. Each cell outputs a nominal 3.7V at 1100mAh! Comes terminated with a standard 2-pin JST connector - 2mm spacing between pins. These batteries require special charging. Do not attempt to charge these with anything but a specialized Lithium Polymer charger.

LiPoly Charger
(Single Cell 3.7-7V Input)
This is a Polymer Lithium Ion battery charger based on the MAX1555 IC. This charger uses either USB bus power (MAX1555 internally limits this to 100mA) or 2.1mm center positive wall power adapater (MAX1555 internally limits this to 300mA). Current is automatically shut off when charging is complete. Cheap, easy to use, and flexible, this board serves as a great demo board for the MAX1555. This charger is a 'must have' for quick and clean charging of Lithium Polymer chemistry batteries.

A SparkFun original Lithium Polymer charger.
This little black box charges single cell lithium polymer batteries with a max rate of 1A.
This works well with our 5V/1A regulated supply. The charge output is via a 2-pin screw terminal.
Top pin is ground, bottom pin is charge pin. Based on the popular Microchip part MCP73843-410.
