Traxster II Robot Chassis kit (Supplied without electronics)
The Traxster Robot Kit was designed to be used as an indoor educational robotics kit. This ready made platform allows more time for enthusiasts to develop intelligent software (such as vision recognition or localization and mapping).
The Traxster can easily manoeuvre through carpet and other types of flooring, as well as traverse over small obstacles. The Traxster's skid-steer drive tracks enables it to spin about it's center.
The Stinger Robot Kit was designed to appeal to the entry-level robotic enthusiast. This is an excellent starter kit, which can grow as the user's expertise grows. This all new design allows the builder to increase the capabilities by adding on components such as a Serializer with Bluetooth, sensors, cameras, and many other accessories without having to upgrade to a new platform. This rugged indoor platform allows more time for enthusiasts to develop intelligent software (such as vision recognition & navigation, or localization and mapping).
The Stinger features commercial grade parts, such as aircraft grade aluminum and stainless steel fasteners, not found on any other robotics kits in its price range.
The Sensor Platform allows customers to expand their sensor and servo mounting options for the Traxster and Stinger Robot Kits.
The Sensor Platform bolts on top of the Traxster/Stinger Robot Kits, Serializer .NET Robot Controller, EDK Plus .NET Micro Framework controller, and the eBox-2300/4300 controller.
The Sensor Platform allows you to bolt on up to 10 additional Sharp IR Sensors and 3 servos (for arms, etc.), and features large wiring holes to allow you to route wiring to/from your hardware.
The Sensor Platform is made of 0.063" thick aluminum.
This is the same Sensor Platform that is included in the Traxster MF Robotics Kit.
The Sensor Platform includes four 1" M-F 4-40 nylon standoffs that can be used to mount it to our robot kits and/or controllers.
