Phidgets USB - DC, Servo and Stepper Motor Controllers
Phidgets are an easy to use set of building blocks for low cost sensing and control from your PC. Using the Universal Serial Bus (USB) as the basis for all Phidgets, the complexity is managed behind an easy to use and robust Application Programming Interface (API). Applications can be developed quickly in Visual Basic, VBA (Microsoft Access and Excel), LabView, Java, Delphi, C and C++.
1-Motor PhidgetServo
The PhidgetServo 1-Motor is a USB based controller that can control one Remote Control (RC) servo motor powered directly from the USB port of a PC.
The PhidgetServo firmware can position the servo motor to an accuracy of 0.1 degree. The actual motor shaft positioning is affected by the motor’s gear slop.
USB device for controlling two standard DC motors. Input voltage from 5-9 VDC with a maximum current of 1.5Amps per motor. Over current error is given in software API when motor exceeds limit. Packaged with USB cable, and manual.
The PhidgetAdvancedServo 8-Motor allows you to control the position, velocity, and acceleration of up to 8 RC servo motors. It requires a 6-15VDC external power supply; its switching power supply allows the 1061 to efficiently operate from 6 to 15 VDC and can be used with a wide range of batteries.
The PhidgetStepper unipolar stepper motor controller allows you to control the position, velocity, and acceleration of up to 4 unipolar stepper motors. The 1062 can be used in applications that require precise positioning and continuous rotation, at low cost.
Comes packaged with a 180cm USB Cable, a Getting Started Manual, a mounting hardware kit, and a sheet of labels.
The 1063 - PhidgetStepper Bipolar 1-motor allows you to control the position, velocity, and acceleration of one bipolar stepper motor.
The 1063 can be used in applications that require very precise positioning; This is also the product you want to use to control larger industrial steppers or for applications that need a lot of torque.
Comes packaged with a 180cm USB Cable, a mounting hardware kit, and a sheet of labels.
The PhidgetMotorControl HC allows you to control the angular velocity and acceleration of up to two high–current DC motors. It provides a generic, convenient way to interface your PC with DC motors and other Phidgets devices.
The PhidgetAdvancedServo 1-Motor allows you to control the position, velocity, and acceleration of one RC servo motor. The 1066 is powered solely by the USB cable – no additional power source is required.
The 1066 has a high resolution of 125 steps per degree; it measures the power consumption of the servo, and powers servo motors of up to 450mA.
The AdvancedServo connects directly to a computer’s USB port.
