Tamiya 70167 Single Gearbox (4-speed) Kit

This compact single-motor gearbox features 4 different gear ratios, making it perfect for many different uses. Precision-made components offer smooth and reliable operation, and a FA-130 type motor is also included.

Tamiya 70097 Twin-Motor Gearbox Kit

The Tamiya 70097 twin-motor gearbox is a small (3-inch long) plastic gearbox. It contains two small DC motors that drive separate 3mm hexagonal output shafts. There are two ways to put the kit together: with a high-speed 58:1 gear ratio or with a slower 203:1 gear ratio. Either way, the motors provide plenty of power to drive any small robot. The Tamiya 70093 3-speed crank-axle gearbox is essentially half of the twin-motor gearbox. The kit comes with enough parts so you can built the gearbox in any of three gear ratios (17:1, 58:1, and 204:1).

Crank-Axle Gearbox Kit

The Tamiya 70110 4-speed crank-axle gearbox has four possible gear ratios, including the highest gear ratio of Tamiya’s gearbox series, 5402:1, as well as 126:1, 441:1, and 1543:1. This gearbox also features a worm gear, which locks the output shaft when the motor is not turning. A clutch gear prevents the gearbox from destroying itself in case the output shaft gets stuck. The kit comes with all parts necessary to build the gearbox in any of the four possible configurations.

Tamiya 70103 Universal Gearbox Kit

The Universal Gear Box works well in a variety of applications and can be mounted several ways. A hex shaft and a threaded shaft are included to give the builder flexibility in design. The plastic gears and metal gear box are all high quality. A FA-130 motor has also been included.

Getting its name from the way the gears rotate like the planets around the sun, the Planetary Gear Box is a precise, high quality gearbox with a RC-260 motor built into the gear box itself to add to its compactness. A wide range of gear ratios can be attained, and two kinds of crank arms are supplied for a wider range of functions.

Available gear ratios are 4:1, 5:1, 16:1, 20:1, 25:1, 80:1, 100:1, and 400:1.

Can be assembled in 11.6:1 and 18:1 gear ratios.

The High Speed Gear Box, High Efficiency, is perfect for high speed applications. Two gear ratios are possible, and several styles of crank arms are supplied for a variety of uses. A RE-260 motor is included. The gear box can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
