These made-to-order tyres feature the popular "green dot" compound which has great traction properties.
They respond well to tyre treatments and conditioners.
They are available with a diameter of 2-1/8", 2-1/2" and 2-7/8".
They have been modified to reduce the width of the assembly when mounted to the hubs.
The 2-1/8" tyres are used on our Stomper Sumo Kit.
The green dot tyres are softer than the blue dot compound.
The green dot tyres will compress about 1/8" with 10 lbs of force.
The blue dot tyres compress about 1/32" with the same downward force.
It is recommended that the blue dot compound be used with a robot that uses magnets or vacuum to reduce the tyre compression.
These tyres mount directly onto an HS-422 servo using only two #4 x 5/8" self tapping screws. You do not need the aluminum hub to do this.
