Stepper Motors (Unipolar & Bipolar) - The'H' series stepper motors have higher torque, higher efficiency, lower noise and vibration than standard stepper motors of the same size. The higher torque is achieved by higher efficiency magnetic materials. The rotor inertia is also higher, making them better able to handle high inertia loads. They are ideal in robotics applications where a standard motor of the same size has insufficient torque.
DC Motors - We have a wide range of DC motors and gearbox options including, spur geared motors, planetary gearbox motors, tiny pager motors, micro metal gear motors, gearbox kits, motors with quadrature encoders, planetary geared pager motors, and complete drive systems. Many of our drive systems include wheels fitted with position feedback and mounting hardware.
Linear Actuators - Firgelli miniature linear actuators have internal limit switches which will turn the power off to the motor when the end of stroke is reached. The switches cannot be moved. This actuator can be driven by simply reversing the polarity of the applied voltage. Lower gear ratios have higher speed but less force. Higher gear ratios have higher force but are slower. Also Miga NanoMuscle Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) linear and rotary actuators.
