With the ability to communicate via serial RS-232/TTL and I2C, the versatile LK162-12 can be used with virtually any controller.

The intuitive command structure allows display settings such as backlight brightness, contrast and baud rate to be software controlled.

Additionally, up to thirty-two custom characters such as character sets for bar graphs, medium and large numbers may be stored in the non-volatile memory to be easily recalled and displayed.
