The Serializer WL^TM

This Robot Controller provides a ready-to-use solution to interface Microsoft^TM .NET applications to common robotic hardware. Never before has it been this easy to interface DC motors, servos, analog sensors, I2C devices, single and quadrature encoders, switches/relays, and other devices to the Microsoft^TM .NET framework. It's time to jump to the next level of program development.

RS232 and USB interface adaptors are available for use with the Serializer board these items listed separately below.

RS232 for The Serializer WL™

This module provides instant RS-232 serial port connectivity to the Serializer WL Robot Controller.

Just plug it into the Serializer WL, connect the module with your PC/Laptop using a common serial cable, and your Serializer is ready to use!

USB for The Serializer WL™

This module provides instant USB connectivity to the Serializer WL Robot Controller.

Just plug it into the Serializer WL, connect the module with your PC/Laptop using a USB cable, and your Serializer is ready to use!

Serializer WL Bluetooth Module

This module instantly provides Bluetooth connectivity to the Serializer WL Robot Controller.

It also features a UFL antenna connector to allow you to connect our 1/4 wave UFL antenna to increase range.

We also added two holes to allow you to tie wrap the antenna cable down to ensure it stays securely attached.

This board is a great accessory to the Serializer WL .NET robot controller!

WLAN Tri-band UFL Antenna for Serializer

This Antenna provides a 2.5dBi gain for our Bluetooth Serial Interface Modules sold with the Serializer .NET Robot Controller.

They also work with the XBee and XBee Pro modules with an external antenna connector.

The antenna is 96mm in length when straight, and has a U.FL connector on the end of a 100mm cable.

The antenna hinges and allows both straight, 45 degree angle, and right angle use. The antenna is designed to snap into a hole.

IO Wizard™

IOWizard The IOWizard is used when additional I/O capabilities are required. The IOWizard features an I2C interface that allows users to query 5 analog inputs and 10 digital I/O lines.

The default I2C slave address is 100d (0x64h), and it can be changed to a value between 100d and 110d (0x6Eh). The IOWizard can be used to expand the I/O of our Serializer WL Robot Controller, as well as any other I2C Master device.

Control of the IOWizard via the Serializer can be achieved using the Generic I2C protocol. The state of the I/O lines on the IOWizard can be saved to eeprom, so that they survive a power cycle. The IOWizard also includes a power and heartbeat LED for quick user status.
