Computer Crossover
Ethernet crossover cables are most often used in home networks without a hub of switch. The network cards of two computers are connected directly to each other using a crossover cable – a cable has its own receive wires swapped over so that the send from one computer A goes to the receive of computer B and vice versa.
A crossover cable is an ideal method of connecting your laptop to your desktop PC to transfer large files or to share an internet connection between two home PCs.
