Expansion Module. Comes with the minimum number of parts needed to make the Expansion Module functional: 1 bare PCB, 1 6-pin stacking header, 1 40-pin stacking header, 2 3-pin servo headers, 1 22 KOhm resistor network, 1 PCF8574 I2C Expander, 1 5pin I2C connector, 1 6-position DIP switch.

Add four 1A DC motor drivers to your Mark III sensor board. Kit includes 2 Texas Instruments SN754410NE dual H-bridge chips, 4 green LEDs and 4 red LEDs to indicate motor direction, 4 1KOhm pull-up resistors, 1 74HC04 hex inverter, and 4 3-pin motor headers (Handy Board pinout).

PIC 16F877-20/P microprocessor. 20MHz clock speed. 40-pin DIP. Pre-programmed with Rick Farmer's PICLoader bootloader. This is the same chip bootloader used in the Mark III kit.

Microchip 24LC256 serial (I2C) EEPROM. Holds 256Kbits, or 32K x 8bits. Required when using the OOPic chip on the Mark III controller board. Useful even in the standard Mark III configuration, since this provides a large amount of user-writeable space. Store maps, or state tables for your robot.
