This module can easily be connected to many popular microcontroller's via the I2C bus.
The compass uses two Philips KMZ10A magnetic field sensors that are sensitive enough to detect the Earths magnetic field.
The module generates a number that indicates the bearing of the robot in relation to the local magnetic field.
This number can then be read by the microcontroller.
Voltage - 5v only required
Current - 25mA Typ.
Resolution - 0.1 Degree
Accuracy - 3-4 degrees approx. after calibration
Output 1 - Timing Pulse 1mS to 37mS in 0.1mS increments
Output 2 - I2C Interface, SMBUS compatible, 0-255 and 0-3599 , SCL speed up to 1MHz
