The ServoRelay simply plugs into a standard RC receiver just like a servo and you connect the load you wish to control via the on board terminals.
A small on board adjustable potentiometer lets you select the point at which the relay is activated. The ServoRelayXL does not require an additional servo channel!
With both normally-open and normally-closed contacts and an adjustable switch threshold, this tiny product has unlimited applications, from controlling auxiliary lighting on an RC model to remotely operating cameras to take pictures from the air.
ServoRelayXL plugs into a standard hobby radio control receiver just like a normal servo. Simply connect the load that you want to toggle to the high quality screw terminals. Depending on the channel you use, you will then be able to control a load of up to 10A by moving the relevant stick or switch on your radio controlled transmitter. ServoRelayXL has an adjustable switching point which means the module can be set to switch when a transmitter stick reaches a particular position. This can be used on an existing occupied servo channel (with "Y" Adapter lead), for example, to activate turning lights on a model or emit a smoke trail when a plane is at full throttle.
ServoRelayXL includes a status LED which lights up when the relay is on, and vice versa. It also indicates if your radio link is too weak by flashing repeatedly.
The relay is a 240V 10A single pole double throw switch which means you have the option of inverting the behaviour by changing terminals.
ServoRelay should not be used to switch inductive loads like motors or solenoids without an antiparallel diode.
